any feedback why he quit? I doubt this is something we can do but since we get so many new players who do not stick around it would be helpful to know what turned them off to the point of not coming back. My first instinct is, that's its too difficult for them to learn initially and they get overwhelmed and give up. But the complexity of the game is part of what makes it so good.
One problem is that a random newb can join at any given time. What if he joins a district game when the round just started? What if he joins a slaughered game at 45 minutes mark? What if he joins a crossroads game at 30 minutes mark? What if he joins a mvalley game when the round just started? As a vet, you have to do very different things for each of the scenarios above. As a newb, how the fuck do you know what the fuck is going on? Holy shit, imagine the complexity for a newb.
He thinks the game is fucking shit,i mean he played 2 horrible maps including OLD ESCORT. He also wanted to quit because he found the game too difficult when he was trying to destroy HEAVY TANKS. (His username is KaedeLanyo so some of you might have seen him.) EDITh and he used gren RPG to kill them.
There is some truth to that, i got really fucking fed up on my second day of playing, where on cyclopean the medium tanks wouldnt die even after getting hit 5 times with the rpg.
