Vannila Tank/arty/etc - Refers to a tank with no upgrades

Ninja - To infiltrate an enemy base and destroy the enemy CV or important structures single handedly without being detected.

rax, rez, gameboy and spotting are used in game.

Never heard the rest used though.

 

Comm Suicide - A usually malicious act of a commander that consists of intentionally destroying team's own Command Vehicle by driving it off a high cliff, into deep water, etc. E.g. anything that would cause the CV to be destroyed quickly.

Suicide - Often the only resort to getting "unstuck": pull down the console with the tilda (~) key, type "kill" (without quotes) and press enter.

Decon - short for "Deconstruct", an Engineer's ability to un-build enemy structures with the engineer tool.

Spam - too much of something. Used in "nadespam", "smokespam", "artyspam", etc.

Sploit - from "exploit": using a bug to gain unfair advantage over the enemy. Examples include clipping into geometry, falling under the world, getting to places unaccessible by design, etc.

Crash Dumps - Files generated by the game whenever it crashes. These files contain debugging information used by developers to track down
bugs responsible for the crash. For more info see this thread.

 

I use "gameboy" all the time. I've seen it widely used by others too.

 

Griefer - Someone who intends to ruin the game, usualy by suiciding the commander

 

2TM does support my previous point though...that there's a lot of bull crap in this jargon translator

 

I never heard of the Stalingrad... But the rest of them I heard mentioned a couple of times...

 

I figure we put anything in here that confuses anybody, even things that aren't typically said. Blitzkrieg, why not? Why not throw some terminology in there as well. Yea I realize that a lot of it isn't actually used in game. Now for people who have played other games such as StarCraft or Battlefield 2, they'll immediately understand a lot of this stuff.

Actually, this game reminds me a lot of Battlezone, which is why I love it. :D

I rember that term from NS when we used to say Vanilla Skulks and such :D somehow it got carried over to empires... Paper tanks just didnt stick with me...

I've heard this used by other people, but I may have started it-

Death APCs - Refering to an APC with Armor Piercing Heavy Machine guns, (various other armor and engines), designed specifically for anti-tank role.

 

Revolver: I think that only you use it. Abbreviating the mg type is better: ura apc.
