Actually, he's being a bit of a bitch, saying Empires isn't worth the 10 minutes of effort to him to upload them. I'll keep trying to get out of him, but if I can't get them by tomorrow then it's over to you Empty. It is worth mentioning that he has about 3 versions of each map, in different states. Blackmountain, Insurrection, Silo and Hazard.

I'd appreciate it if someone could throw this up somewhere. I need these maps to play either VIPER or EPIC, but I'm at a hotel for 2 weeks and the internet here somehow prevents downloading map content through being connected to the server in game. Instead I could download them off line :D.
Omneh's bequeathed me quite a few of his and others' maps that I will wrap up and once I have a few of them ready I'll throw together a pack with every other decent map listed here.
Can you just hold off until the patch? That's the main reason I haven't done one, there's still a load of maps which don't work, or rather, have shit missing, because of Lost Coast content. Or at the very least, try out some of the "broken" maps in the test version where we re-enabled Lost Coast content, especially some that you might have otherwise written off as broken. Do you remember what happened when MOOtant decided to put the Empires release on dropbox? I do.
I do too.. but I remember someone saying something about being able to warn dropbox that its going to have high traffic so that it wouldn't be limited. I will look into it. edit:well here are the facts Considering the files shrink down to about 160mb, to break 10GB you need to download it over 62 downloads a day. Since there are quite a number of people who play empires just not at the same time... ya its going to break a free account link. On the other hand a pro account would give you 1562 downloads a day.
