Just stopped working. I try to start it from steam, got the little black windows saying "starting empires" then the whole screen blinks once but nothing else. I deleted the local content and re installed empires but still same issue. I downloaded gary's mod and that one started ok. Dont know what else to do... any ideas on where to look?
It can be a + in some certain circumstances I think, but yeah, I was 99% sure it wasn't just "autoconfig" on its own.
the -autoconfig worked. it started empires in 1024x748 (or something like that) with no mouse. I was able to change it to a higher resolution in windowed mode so the mouse would show up.. now.. was it -noborder -windowed?
