Empires 2.5 Bug List

I'll be putting every single bug that gets reported in here, some non-bugs that I feel are of note, and old bugs that need a reminder. The ones I figure are most important will get highlight in red, and I'll be putting notes in italics as I see fit.

GUI said:

If you quickly fire and then melee, the HUD removes a bullet for firing then puts it back when you melee then removes it again. Tested with NF pistol1 and BE pistol1

Mouse cursor not drawing with chat box open unless the cursor is directly over the chatbox. Just move the mouse cursor outside of the chat box and it disappears, can make it difficult to get the mouse cursor over the chat box in the first place

Text clipping for 'secondary' on vehicle weapon assignment GUI

Help text at the bottom of vehicle weapon assignment GUI is incorrect

Camera controls panel within spectator pretty much works, though it gets stuck on sometimes and your cursor disappears

The word "selection" in the upper left of the Team Selection panel is cut off

Hud voice indicator is using the default for Source and putting it in the lower right instead of using the Empires ones with the avatars right under the minimap.

Very high HDR on Crossroads

Weird shadow across the whole of Canyon appearing sometimes

Still have the error bushes on emp_midbridge

Players spawning inside each other on certain flags on District.

On canyon, the texture for that crater by the c3 ref is really out of place. It looks kinda bad.

Misc said:

Plasma particles not working Empty did a quick fix-up for the Plasma particles so we could have this dealt with. They're not as pretty, but they work.

Jumping into the sides of certain buildings kills the player. Particularly noticeable when jumping into the band around the outside of the NF VF

Spectate camera sometimes appears from the player's center instead of their eyes

Bio ML is even more annoying as infantry

STD ML Explosion looks weird

Old known bugs said:

Clicking fire button too fast stops weapon fire animation from working

Switching to binoculars then zooming to the first zoom level and switch weapons causes it to stay zoomed in

When building a new vehicle with a HIT missile the HIT missle can't fire for a few seconds

Viewing angles when spawning a jeep aren't set to the same direction as the front of the jeep

Direction of player on minimap always points north when first when entering a vehicle until the vehicle moves and will sometimes get locked to north whenever player is in a vehicle
