A couple of us tested vehicle combat with the DUMG's vs various armours and against enemy HE MG. If both drivers are careful HE MG in a BE MED will win...if the enemy driver is good then he will pwn the BE Med if it has abs or regen. If the Med has Comp or the new Reactive, they will be fine. It all seemed pretty balanced to me, because it was a straight MG fight. Didn't get extensive tests done as it's 2:45am and I R tired, but still things didn't look horribly imbalanced. We prolly need a tank wars tho Not too sure about the upgraded RPG research - considering it's in the same price range as tanks it's not unbalanced, but if you factor in the fact that tanks drain res each time they are made and gren research once done is permanent and free, it starts to look a little wonky. Again, need a tank wars or summat. I'm also a little leary of putting more cool things in Chemistry..I know you asked where better to put it, but with the righteous change to abs, and all the great things in chem...it's going to become a one-stop-shop along with the mech tree.
Meh, if we're going to have another snow map, Grizzly's WIP looks the best. Badlands should not look like a generic snow map.
Poor Arklansman. What needs to be changed? I'm sure he would have changed it if there were problems pointed out.
Anyone else notice this bug? If you play a map which turns on sudden death (epic lame) the countdown timer starts. Next map you join the countdown timer covers the tickets, as if it was overlapped.
I got that bug. I also get randomly disconnected every now & then with no warning, it just goes back to the main menu. =/
If you're getting the disconnected bug, record a demo, and write down the entity number it says you don't have in the console when it disconnects you. Playback the demo, and go to the end of the demo right before you were disconnect. Turn cheats on with "sv_cheats 1", and then type "cl_showents". It will print a list of all entities in game, and you can find the number that it told you it crashed on. Then, tell me what it says next to that number.
