If it could be brought back, it would have been. The rising water caused server crashes since the port to orange box, hence we only have emp_atoll.
And there is no possible way of fixing this? meh. Sinking was one of the more interesting maps that I've played.
best was building epic fort at main, whoring points and hanging out healing eachother worked really well because explosions did no dmage under water or soemhing iono i can't remember perfectly
dude all the ridiculous shit that people crank out, and that we cant get rid of, particularly when it comes to maps, fucking ruins my fun.
what deadpool said. rainbowroad, octagons, district, escort, money, urbanchaos, glycencity, that map with the 2 forts with the gates - game companies ship full price titles with less maps then we have crappy ones ...
Holy shit, i actually agree with flashe for once. Still, sinking was fun sometimes. But if anything i'd prefer a better layout for a sinking map, atoll's one is just bad.
I like every map flasche listed, particularly glycencity. Such a shame it's not played as often as it used to be. But sinking was kinda fun too :D The middle was too easy to hold on to though.
go play battlefield then, maps that lack commanders have no place in (my) empires. they are are what distinquish this game from being just another (crappy) battlefield clone ...
