It took about 4 days to make, not working all the time. And yes, use SDK, download it and go to hammer editor. You might want to check out some tutorials before you open up hammer.
You need to create a game configuration in hammer, if you're too stupid to do that, well, i'm not going to help you.
I've seen numerous people ask the stupidest questions, most of wich i solved myself when i needed to ask them, and i didn't ask anybody.So if you say "not a good attitude", i think in myself, what is this guy's problem? Either i'm special or i just got lucky, but i know how to map, if others don't know how to and/or don't understand, they just have to face it, they can't map.
lighten up. if he needs to configure hammer, he is obviously new to the entire mapping thing. whats so wrong with asking for help? im sure every mapper has asked "easy" or "stupid" questions at time. but eventually get used to the program and can offer solid community maps.
as far as i know, only the MAD server and Nachos server has it. It has to be RTV'd to be played, so just hop into one that is empty and rtv it
Well I was going to get it on Napalm's Funhouse, I rewrote the map cycle there and I want to put more custom maps in. This was a good map so I got it from MAD server, searched my empires folder for emp_oasis and set all the files out. Not sure if I did it right though so I'm not posting the mirror, at least not until I've tried it on the server.
its really hard to hold your sense of direction on this map, unless you spend your whole time driving by the minimap,too much sandyness and lack of landmarks
I liked this map, and haven't seen is around for a while. Is there any chance of a 2.23 recompile of it?
