These are the 'Skybox' folder and 'Keef' folder files. Not going to hurt anything by uploading it, just take you longer to upload it all.
Btw, don't judge it until you play it. Its cosmetics will always be a work in progress, but it is really fun (frustrating for comms though) and we had a lot of fun playing alpha 1 and 2 with lots of players on Nachos. I'm interested to see how this will play on G4TC.
Missiles spammers dream, I'd say that it should be biased towards nf. Gotta play it later. But the idea is awesome and I'm looking forward to play it.
:D yay looking forward to seeing this map played with more than 10 per side. I think that's where it will come into it's own, props to keef and shandy!
i've played it. AWESOME GAMEPLAY. DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL ON YOUR SERVER NOW. seriously, fn198 recommends this
several it seems, people also keep coming to us with requests for help on one thing or another. However this map didnt take me long to build at all, deadpool gave us this concept on saturday morning and I basically had the map finished that evening, did alpha tests etc then.
I don't think it looks at all like duststorm - it certainly doesn't play like duststorm, that's for sure. It's way more intense than that.
Why less resources? The resources on a1 were too low, you could hardly afford to do anything or research very much because you swap bases so much that you're constantly spending resources on new refs, raxes, even VFs and radars. In a1, all res nodes were 1.5 res, now they're all 2 res.
the main server has 64 people which would've made the 2x res nodes act as 6x-10x, and if you're covering the whole map, you'd be getting a shit ton of resources. What you have to count on is holding 3-5 res nodes and not all servers can run or are willing to run 64 player servers
