Megahill_Jam version: Beta 7 By: [LoDw]Keef & DrummerX Reason for starting out in later in the betas is due to the fact that two people (Youzy and Trickster) both found ways into the enemy base to destroy it. Took two betas to figure out how to stop, thanks you two. Basically, this map was made just to have fun on. Remembered having tons of fun on the old classic downhill_jam and decided to recreate it in my vision. Again, THIS IS NOT A REGULAR EMPIRES MAP for those that will bitch about it later. The map's flags work in a U shape and requires 3 people to take the last flag. There are ramps for those that are adrenaline junkies and want to trash a perfectly good vehicle and also threw some trees in just to fuck the vehicles up some more, thought about sand traps but i'll leave those for later versions. ya....I left a visgroup off when I compiled b3, my bad on release delay. EDIT, realize there is no minimap.
Under water theres a big graphical glitch. Increased tickets would be great, theres a lot of killspawning on this map and in some areas you got stuck and !US wont free you. Add some trees and bushes in the skybox too, it looks a bit empty.
Not all servers have the plugin that lets you type !us to access the emp_unstuck command. If a server doesn't, you can always type emp_unstuck in console.
played it today, it was very fun. although this is what happens when tickets go to zero. definatly needs a way to get up the hill
Teleporters will be placed on the island and i agree the tickets need to be increased. Many changes will be made in coming versions, glad people are liking this map.
Wall between the bases needs to be extended. Its quite awkward to try to drive into the enemy base only to hit an invisible player clip.
ya I was thinking that too, but then I was thinking about the effort I would have to put into copying and pasteing some walls and decided against it. :p
