emp_duststorm.....

when i connected to server it was running duststorm but when i came in to game my mini map was checkered pink and black aint know why might be a bug

 

Sounds like empires couldnt load the minimap texture. If it doesnt show up after alt+tab and resuming game it simply missing on HD. You may try a full restart of empires, too.

 

and also is the server auto-download maps? cuz it wouldn't download gauntlet
And i tried all of the methods you gave me but they aint workin even restrating empires :mad:

Did you install 1.08 RC 7, then the RC8 patch? Or just RC8?

 

errg i didn't know u needed RC7 it is way to big anyway i am not gonna waste the very little time i have to download it not until there is a patch to put ontop of 1.07 enyway(if there is gonna be)

There will never be a patch for 1.07. 1.08 will only be a full install.

 

1.08 has so much updates to old V1.07 files that it's useless to create a patch for V1.07.

 

Can the one we are testing now be updated? I don't really want another huge download.

 

Maybe I should point you towards GetRight. It's a download manager that allows you to pause a download and resume it at a later time. Its free to download, and it never expires, though it does nag a bit. Then you can download RC7 in small chunks at a time.
