Actually I'm going to flat out deny it. Iraq as a whole is pretty dangerous, but the area I'm in simply isn't dangerous at all. It's a tightly controlled oil-field in which every entrance is heavily guarded, every non-entrance is mined, and thousands of Security teams made up of ex-forces guys from western armies (mainly British) operate within this area. Not to mention that none of the violence within the country is ever aimed at foreigners, it's always a Shiite vs Sunni thing. Honestly, I feel safer in Iraq than I did working in the Emirates, because at least in Iraq there's no real danger of a car crash when your vehicle is 6 tonnes of armoured protection, whereas the crazy drivers in the Emirates always had a chance of killing you. Put simply, there's just too much money in this oil field for the big companies to let anything happen. I have no idea how much money BP put into security within that area, but I can guarantee that it'll blow your mind. It's just that valuable.
Paradox recently read the wikipedia page for John Keynes and now thinks throwing out economic commentary makes him look intellectual.
Because it's satirical political commentary. Paradox read something relating to economics and now thinks he can make any economic commentary by just throwing names around.
I duno isnt adam smith like a really important person in capitalism? I thought it was that guy from what I remember from 6th grade history
I was repairing the CV in between each arty strike, had I stopped, ran out of charge or died, the CV would have died instantly. At one point, a single RPG would have finished it. I honestly thought it was over. But sometimes, just sometimes, magical things happen. And yet again, for the 50thousandth fucking time, I get let off the hook. Thanks team. Well fucking played.
Yeah, I got picked way too high both times. I got picked a few slots above Lazybum once. That's ridiculous. A better way to ensure a legitimate & speedy draft: Pick captains during the traditional district match or before. Make each captain put the server's players in a list from best to worst while the district match is going on. This prevents them from going, "erma gerd, who 2 pick?" Send the lists to someone specing like Vicki. Vicki can verify that every captain spent the time making a list and the list is remotely When the district match ends, switch to the first pug map with like 600+ seconds on the timer. Gag everyone except for the captains. Put the two captains on NF & BE. Make each captain send player picks in text chat. Each pick joins the captain on the proper team as he's picked. Then play!
I just drafted super serious and got the best team I could pick with the most team cohesion skill and ability to listen take orders and execute them.
