when the commander selects a radially active unit (radars, turrets), he can see its effective radius in the command view and the minimap

regular players should have these ingame and minimap projections available especially for turrets so that it's easier to place structures to optimize defenses their use.

unbuilt structures would have a yellow radius. turrets you're currently placing would have a green dotted line radius or whatever

maybe scout enhanced senses would be denoted this way too

I would love to have it for turrets.

I havent seen the radius lines for turrets since i changed my version back to release empires, I see radars and cameras radii but not turrets, bit off topic but w/e.

you'd see these only when you open the large map? could get pretty crowded on the minimap.

if we could have an option in the menu for changing the vehicle speed units
we could probably have a toggle for different displays

It was shot down for being a "logical/useful addition" or for some stupid need to keep the information unavailable.

Still, its not a bad idea.
