if you heal up drowning damage and then take damage later you will automatically regen, I've only tried this with an armory not sure if it works with a calculator
I was unable to replicate this can you descirbe how you did in a PM? *Edit* Thankyou, bug confirmed...
What is the extent to which this bug can be abused? E.G: An exploiter drownsheals himslef, drowns and heals, drowns and heals ect; until he has so much HP stored up he can waltz into the enemy base as grenadier and blow up enemy CV before he gets killed.
well it seems you only regen while not taking damage and then only a few hp a tick, not really useful but then again not useless either
Have you people ever played Half-Life? :D That's how it works in HL. You start to drown, but if you get out of water in time you recover back to the health you were before you started drowning(minus the damage you've possibly taken from other sources during the swim). I think it's even somewhat realistic as people who have nearly drowned become OK quite soon after couching the water out of their lungs. Edit: Or do you mean that it regens over the maxhp?
I think he's saying that if the damage you took underwater is healed, then you remain at full health. But when you take some more damage, the remainder of the amount you took underwater is healed. Drowns for -60 (40) Recovers for first +10 (50) Healed to max for +50 (100) Shot for -60 (40) Recovers for remaining +50 (90)
You go drown yourself while and healing yourself up, to full HP Then once you take damage, On the surface, at any extended period of time after "Drown Healing" be it a bullet or a fall, you will regen as if right after drowning... This works better and faster then the current regen skill
For anyone who needs proof of this I have managed to replicate the bug on Slaughtered. To keep any noob exploiters from using it just send me a PM, and I'll give you a link to the video.
I think just mentioning the bug will encourage 'sploiters to find out anyway, so not publicizing the video link will only be a temporary save...
