Hey, I'm some weird person who once upon a time played a mod called Empires. I'm kinda wondering if enough people still play this game to keep it fun, and if the next release is still coming. It was fun when I played it, and if people still play it, then I want to do so again too.....
Almost everyone here plays empires 1.08. Well technically it's called testing, but when you're having a good game with 22 vs 24 people i call it playing. Most of us have a hard time going back to empires 1.071 after playing 1.08 for this long. And YES, next release is still coming!!!!
Yeah, people still play regularly. Public release is coming when the bugs are ironed out, hopefully soon after EP2 buzz dies a bit
it doesnt take much to become a beta tester.. hell most of them dont even do testing.. they just play for fun look around the fourms more
there is one slight issue with becoming a beta tester. PM me and I'll give you some of my contact info, you have to send me $100 USD (or 50 british pounds) and I'll let the devs work you into the system. So just send me some money, and we'll see what we can do. btw, nice to see you didn't disappear off the face of the earth, turrent-boy. :D edit: Jesus, of course I'm not serious, no one ask me anything about this! Crimany! Don't you people know when I'm joking?! I am in no way in charge of anything!
Or eat more lobster. Edit: OMG the 1.08 subforum is at 9.999 posts !! ... and has 373 topics. Certainly not dead then eh?
Ah yes, I remember you. I refered to you as the pie man :D. Do what was said earlier in the thread. Look north.
^ after downloading and installing for 6 hours. im not being sarcastic, it is worth the time/effort but it still takes awhile.
 Patches  . Lots of  Patches. Um....do you have to have 1.07something and then download the  patches  or do you just start off with those?
When done you may find the server empty, but do not despair as Friday is a magic day with boom tanks and other stuff. Also if this thread dissapears it may have been moved a bit.
There's alot of :eek:patches:eek:, but  it's     totally worth it.
