Hi, ive made a map for fun but I have encountered one problem when playtesting:

When you drive a tank onto the displacement ground in the middle, you fall trough for some reason...

    does anybody know why?

Add -novirtualmesh to the command line parameters(in expert mode).
This prevents the displacements from being compiled wrongly.

When you go to compile the map, switch it from normal mode to expert mode (or advanced, whatever it is). Then, copy the compile type you want (no rad/vis, whatever), and add the -novirtualmesh to the bsp executable's command line.

I'll add a screenshot (and you better be DAMN thankful for it! Cursed 56k!) in a minute or two.

    edit:

Figured it out, now? Copy the normal one or something, and then uncheck the vis and rad if you want it to be a fast compile. Add -novirtualmesh to the bsp executable's command lines in that box on the right.

Oh, yes, this DOES double as something of a sneak peek. Very incomplete a map, as you can see.
