When placing barrackses in the command view, show the direction of which way the players will spawn. Thank you.
What if the commander rotates the rax before placing it? Do they still spawn facing east? And if so, wouldn't it make more sense to tie it to the rotation of the rax, so the commander has control over it? Not to mention maps like Cyclopean, where everyone on BE always runs around the rax for no reason, or worse yet, turns around and blocks the path for the others (now that hard collisions are going back in).
It would make more sense the way you described it but there is probably a reason why it isn't like that. The best you can do as a commander is to drop the raxes so the exit faces the east.
Well, either that or the arrows are bugged at the start, but I could swear I got told that in the code, when I asked about making people face an exit, I was told they always face east.
Dude we're way past YEAR 5. You missed your hatted friend by a great deal. He's probably mad now, I'd avoid him if I were you.
I can't check this because I'm at my parents' house ATM, but this should be pretty easy to find out by spawning as BE on Canyon. If you spawn facing an exit, you'll face south or north.
