    really? I thought that was the best screenshot there!

    irl, lighting isn't really one patch of light and then darkness around it... the light spreads out. I thought that that was damn good actually...

    but it's personal opionion, as always.

    Whats the chance that you quickly wrap things up and release the patch?

    These millions of new features are nice, but it'd be even nicer if we could play with them :)

    I see this as being a possible problem. I've had a situation where I was comm for 1 game, then didn't want to be comm the next game, yet most of my team wanted me to. With this voting, I would have been forced into the comm chair when I didn't want to be there. People should be allowed to opt out of being comm.

    Please do, I liked your old one better, except you should be holding a crowbar, not an umbrella.

    That's only one example. The other one is when team doesn't know the game and makes a random vote. (I get to CV first if I want it 99% of the time :>)
    Maybe start the vote only when someone used emp_kick_commander?

    Great work on those new menus. I like the addition of the current commander name in the top left too. Should make it much easier to notice when your comm has gone AWOL.

    If somebody is voted comm but doesn't wants to (or has set it in Options that he doesn't wants to be comm, like me), he shouldn't need to be comm.

    Im guessing the vote is only going to be for the person that starts out in the cv, after that it could be like it is now.

    If you get voted in and don't want it, there's nothing forcing you to stay inside the CV.

    what if the vote system was that to be eligable to be voted, you have to click "apply for commander position". then all of your team cast their votes.

    this could be tied to a 30 second warmup period when everyone is locked in the barracks at the start of the map.
