Could you make it so that when you die, you can move round the map see what your team are doing etc, because it really sucks when your eam has no reinforcements and youve died and all you have to look at is a patch of green grass.

You might join the spectators, but than, you can't be revived.

The screen should get more and more blurry, then after a while fade to black. After the fade to black you are well and truly dead, revive shouldn't work on really really dead people. This would add a sense of urgency, as well as fun realism.

being able to move around the map would be ghosting.

being able to see your teammates view would be oke, but what then you wouldnt be around your own body, for when an engineer is trying to revive you. Still a good idea tho, maybe if you were still to spectate your dead body with like rpessing spacebar, and mouseclicking is cycling trough your teammates

Whats wrong with how it is? except being a bit boring

Personally I'd love if your view stayed with the ragdoll, possibly in a greyscale or some distorted manner.

Oh, and I wouldn't mind being able to free roam if you die on last ticket.

Yes I would love free roam on the last ticket or at least something a bit more interesting, because if you join spectators, your turrets die(if you are an engineer) which leaves less hope of Nf victory on escort in those final crucial minutes. OR......just keep turrets alive when joining spectators and make the death messages just show who it killed :)

You have freeroam on the last ticket, it's when you switch to spectator mode.

Geeze, if there is no chance of you getting revived on the last ticket, you might as well go spec. It's not as boring.

I would love to see something similar to Republic Commando's take on it. When you get killed in that, your view gets occluded by distort-y shaders, the sound gets distant and garbled, and you can look around a bit from where you fell until your squadmates came and revived you. If you could tie a camera to the head of the clientside ragdoll (and make the ragdoll not render when you're viewing through the camera) awesomeness would ensue.

I've got a local imposter on these forums! :o

What annoys me when I die is that I get these frequent popups sometimes asking me where to spawn. I don't want to spawn dammit! If I want to, I'll personally do it myself. :D
