In a similar vein, you can change your steam name to "None", and enter the comm vehicle. Then everyone gets confused as to whether there's actually a comm.

I don’t know, the only time I *almost* got tricked by that dead tag is sudden death on district.
My reflex saved me.

I don’t think this can be some serious issues(at least not bannable), but this can be *fixed* rather easy, I guess it’s up to Candles.
