hey guys I was wondering what I have not done correctly here. I have the custom maps installed on my server and the downloads start but when you get finished it says missing map disconnecting from server. Is there a command I have missed in the server.cfg or what?
It means your server does not allow the downloading of maps from it. It's kinda weird though, so don't worry if you thought you did everything right it kinda depends for every client it seems. Just put the custom maps in your client folder aswell and it should work for you.
make sure theres a .res file for each map that lists ALL the 'resources' (read: files) for the map required to play. sometimes there are map version conflicts and empires wont overwrite files that a client already has on their pc, and u'll occassionally get disconnected for that too.
