1. Crosshair for tanks when firing MG doesn't scale with the accuracy. Example: With DU Heavy Machine Gun the crosshair looks like you have a good accuracy, but in real you spread your shoots all over the area. 2. Crosshair jumps when aiming on players, which are next to objects. Example on escort (first flag) it is hard to aim on players, when they are near and hidding between the upper walls. Or is there a kind of autoaim, which can be disabled?
I think the crosshair's autojump is a feature which tells you where you are going to hit. The crosshair doesn't move incorrectly, it moves to tell you where you are going to hit from your current position thus making it easier to aim. Change place and you'll hit where you want or aim better.
Yeah the vehicle crosshairs as I understand them are partially 'in the world' or something, it does this in half life 2 on the jeep. Personally I don't much like it, but it's probably the default.
