Crosshair Color

Is there any way we can implement changing the colors of our crosshairs?

I somewhat have cone-rod dystrophy and it's hard to aim fast when I'm wasting time just trying to locate my crosshair.

Besides, red is an annoying color.

I personally think we should add in a menu option for the color; it's possible in Fortress Forever.

 

Well, if that's the case, maybe more color options.

 

Must test this. The scout crosshair really needs some more colors

 

Dystopia implemented a nice GUI feature to let you adjust your crosshair color in the Options Menu.

 

The cl_crosshaircolor command doesn't exist.

I thought I would be able to somehow edit the file for the crosshair, but I can't find it in the Empires directory.

 

Crosshairs are turn green and red based on what you are looking at, so there are no custom colors.

 

Yeah good thing it turns green when I look at a friendly or else I would have team killed so many people.

 

We need more of a T crosshair than a +.

- instrument to display your current orientation to the center of the plaent you are playing on (i dont know how this tool is called but its in all modern tanks and is most famous for its use in airplanes)

- instrument to display the +/- degrees that are applied to the barrel pitch

- instrument that puts markers on the display to calculate distances
