Couln't CRC maps emp_distrct402

    I get this error every time the map attempts to load, I had this error since the map was first released.It is becoming somewhat of an annoyance when playing with freinds.
    Any help is appreicated.

    Also for possible questions on specs:
    RAM: 1023 Mb
    Audio device: SB Live! Audio
    DirectX Card: NVIDIA GeForce FX 5900XT

    Have you tried a reinstall of Empires?

    Yes, I have downloaded it from all three of the mirrors.

    I mean did you reinstall v1.0, then v1.07 full?

    I just did, and it didn't work.
    I'm thinking it might be DirectX, but that is most likely doubtful.

    HDD or something is wrong with CPU (counting the CRC). It can be also a weird bug but check that after ensuring that hardware is 100% stable.
