    Anime is certainly a bigger part of modern Japanese culture than animation is in general in other cultures.

    butthurt guys because girls/gays looking at anime want to see hot guys going along with the hot girls?

    childish... if girls can be lust objects with big boobs, why cant the guy have a well trained chest and rock hard cheekbones or whatever

    Because in anime everyone has identical anatomy except the girls have soup bowls glued to their chests.

    Otherwise there is about zero difference.

    Which suits me just fine but I imagine most people don't want to sleep with or emulate men who look like women.

    Unless it's dragonball z in which case all the men are actually vaguely shaped beige sacks of building debris while all the women look vaguely normal.

    That would be some horrendous picture of me taken at a remembrance Sunday I was forced to go to. Having said that, I have no idea who Snakefangs is. It was a joke when we were photoshopping eachother badly in the EPIC teamspeak, so I'm not entirely sure how some randomer got hold of it.
