I think it would be kind of neat if the engineer could construct walls that "lay down" in front of him. Making them something of a bridge. After all thats what combat engineers tend to do, build bridges. Pros - New attack routes would be accessible - Extra build options are fun Cons - Risk of exploiting - Moar wallbuilding?
I like the idea, even if it will end up in pure exploit, same as nine-minening. So U can now build a sun deck over everything?
3-4 years ago, yes, awesome, sure. But now, I think it could probably break some maps, although I'll admit I'm unsure. On top of that, idk how it would even be useful.
how is nine mining useful? Its just funny and thats what games are about, or should at least be about
that would enforce that we are able to build on dropped shit again. I would post old pictures of raxes on walls, but I don't know where they went TRICKSTER, halp!
Before my time, but I've seen the pictures. You could essentially make platforms out of walls, and drop buildings on top.
Well that goes beyond my suggestion, I was not interested in building a pontoon village. I merely meant it would be fun for making shortcuts and simple constructions.
Build them over those stupid craters in canyon... =D (Always fun to see a CV stuck in them. Even more fun to see your team trying to push you out of one!) I'm presuming this is just a flat wall that builds in a forwardly direction. Given all the crap we went through perfecting the bugs of the still-a-little-touchy buildable wall system, I question if this will be hastily taken up. Though, between this or APCs with towing lines, I'm finding it difficult to choose.
so on same way as on some maps, could be that dissabled from map settings; like walls what cannot be builded on escort
