For beginner and expert mappers alike, a collection of useful, interesting, or special emp-specific prefabs. Things such as flag setups, special bleeder systems, bunkers, map buildables, interactive props and the like. If you have anything you think could be interesting or useful for other emp mappers, post it here or tell me and i'll edit it into this post, and eventually make a pack for all of the prefabs. I'm doing this because I'm sure plenty of you other mappers have tons of abandoned projects filled with nice brushwork that some of our creative yet... "visually-challenged" mappers could use to make empires maps look and play better overall. If you make it yourself, download the example on I have above and follow the same template. Make sure you include any custom models/materials/sounds/anything in there too. It'd be nice if all the prefabs were properly optimized, i.e. nodraw, func_detail, func_lod applied, with a skip brush around it for easier positioning. If you can't be fucked to do that it's okay, I can do it for you. Alternatively if you have any old maps with scavengable bits in them, send them to me and i'll pick them apart to make prefabs out of them.
i made a lot of these a while ago, search the forum and use em please (i cant atm) self dropping refinery and the likes edit: make requests, i really like making these things
something off the top of my head: Empires could use a new crane prefab, so we dont have to see that out-of-place HL2 crane model.
I'll sticky it when it becomes useful, atm I've got plenty of stuff to do, but eventually I'll upload some more stuff. If you've got anything make sure its up to par and upload it.
