basically, these would be very big fonted predefined strings of text/images/whatever that appear somewhere clear and obvious in sight on the teammembers hud, displaying the "primary" objective the commander wants his team to do these can range from "Defend the commander" "Claim enemy territory" "Capture refineries" "Read the f*cking chat" etc the commander can change these lets say once every 5 mins (picks one from the list) and there is no effect on anything BUT that all people in your team get what the commander picked why? so commanders dont have to spam the voicechannel, and the commander has a good "soft guildance" for his team
I would be good with an objectives text box with some like 64 char limit or w/e that comms that use it can just change the objective whenever it's needed. Maybe when the comm submits it it can flash once or something. It would be just like a chat box with only enough room for a sentence.
Yeah this was kicked about the same time the new gui concept was out (now old, lol). Still a good idea.
