I never let go of m1 if Im guiding ever, so unless we are having a problem with lag compensation going haywire, I dont think so.
Also, could you look up dig in? I have no idea what it is supposed to do anymore, as back in the day it had like 3 overhauls and its not been viable for like past 5 years. Im being delusional that maybe fixing it would put a stop to the predominant wm1 "tactics"
Dig-in subtracts 25% of the damage taken and applies it to your stamina bar. Also, the code that stops MOOtant from being kicked from the CV is still in there.
So , in fact, its even less than that 25% anyway. No wonder everyone takes health upgrade over that. The only potiential reason to take it, and only alongside hp, is to rarely tank direct mortars if you are at full hp(if they still do 130 as I remember). I bet it wouldnt even stop melee upg.
Interestingly, the comment in the code says that Dig-in is supposed to do a 50-50 split but the code itself does a 75-25 split. Also, you'd be able to survive a melee upgrade hit if you had Dig In, Health and squad armor activated.
It used to be 50/50 but it was OP, so it got nerfed. But I don't think it was even working properly at the time anyway. Maybe we try setting it back to 50-50?
Yea, clearly the price of everything is worth the nothing you get in return. Seriously though, why does meele upg do that much damage? You cant get above 130 hp anyway. Also trickster, I might be in the wrong, but i played buttloads riflemen in the day, and I only remember digin being seriously op when it was made 100%(I think).That or it was bugged to take stamina over hp for whatever reason. Dont quote me on this, but I believe it was 50% before ob update. I'd love to have good dig in again, as my preffered tactic is to crouch and pick targets, but even I think it shoould have its limits. Mortar bullseye and getting crowned with the shotty should till gib you imo.

Dig-in used to be Rifleman defusal. EDIT: I am curious though, who decided that melee upgrade should 1-shot-kill? It's one of the top3 unfriendly(for newbs) stuff in Empires if you ask me.
I don't know why you're looking at me. Aircraft testing and SMG 3 were over and done with before I even found Empires. As for Machine Pistol, I think it was a test script Mashav had before he overwrote the regular Pistol 2 script.
Well yeah, but why is this stuff still included with the game? Smg3 has been dead for about 7 years now.
