You know in EVERY SINGLE RTS how you have the option to upgrade your troops' weapons and gear? I was thinking about a system in which the commander can research something like "Tactical Implants" that improves accuracy of all his units (AKA you, the player) up to the level of the accuracy upgrade. Already having the accuracy upgrade equipped makes it do nothing. We already have the Advanced RPG research, could we do the same things for rifles and the like? Maybe actually start messing around with armor, since its in your loadout. Thoughts? Trolls? Cookies?
Well they took out advanced gren, it would be cool if the mine detector was still with the gren, but in it's loadout place was armor that could be changeable with kinetic, ballistic, and explosive armor (same with rifleman) since they are the offensive classes, so they should get that stuff.
THEY TOOK OUT ADVANCED GREN??!?!?!?!?!??! So that's why I can't kill tanks anymore. Back to the topic, that kinetic, ballistic and explosive armor sounds pretty good. (Haven't played this mod since 2.24, started again recently)
You don't need advanced grenadier any longer. RPG does automatically more damage to bigger tanks. RPG 2.24 damage: 105 RPG 2.25 damage normal: 120 RPG 2.25 damage vs. Medium/Arty: 140 RPG 2.25 damage vs Heavy: 160 Beside of this infantry research was one of the points which will never be added to Empires.
ahaha at least after the 2.25 release (idk if there have been balancing patches) it was incredibly easy to kill tanks compaired to 2.24
