I dont know how but a brenodi spawned into an empty comm like it was an apc. Completely screwed up my trap. I was whatching the thing after I killed the guy whome steped out to repair it. Was on Canyon.
it could of been someone else who wasnt the comm in the first place who was hiding where u couldnt see
When the commander swiches from the comm view to the drive view, the effect is simmilar to the one when you spawn into an empty APC, and the engine starts up; Thats how you can usualy tell if the commander noticed you, is when you here the engine "Turns On", after that expect trouble, since there will be a pissed commander going after you, as well as probably the entire team... Ive done that countles times to ninjas, or some one who is trying to deconstruct my CV... But if you can replicate it, then that is indeed a serious bug... ;; Though I have never noticed anything like that...
Yeah really.... there is alot of ways it could have happend and since noone else has noticed this I'm gonna say you must have not noticed someone get in or something.
what are you guys on about? he obviously spawned in the CV! i do it all the time /blackholing it's litterally impossible to spawn into an CV, there isn't the code to do it. it would be as easy as spawning out of thin air.
Gunner is right, as shown in this thread. Sandbag is also right, in that a map would have to support this in order to make it possible. Currently released ones simply do not. It's most likely that you killed someone who was just repairing the CV, then the real commander popped out.
so it is possible. There were only 2 players on that team. and the other was in a tank blowing up my base.
Unless this can be reproduced, then we can't take your word for it that it happened. I'm sorry, but there just isn't enough evidence. If it happens again or happens to someone else, by all means report it, but at the moment this topic is too vague to do anything about it, even if it is a real bug.
