I'm not sure how much of a bug this is but:

    1. Fire a mortar at a high angle, but make sure that the shell doesn't disappear into the skybox
    2. While the previous mortar shell is still in the air, attempt to fire the mortar again
    3. You will be unable to fire your mortar, and your second "shot" will be returned to you as one mortar ammunition

I reported this sometime last year (2011), from what I remember it was decided to be unimportant.

Cant say it affects gameplay very often

That's a shame, because I recently began to do that very thing that you described.

IIRC a coder (MOOtant? I forget) decided people can't fire off another round until the first one has exploded. Don't really like it that much either

And here I was about to rant how annoying this would be to fix.

Bugs can be fixed a lot faster with good reproduction steps. In the past, people usually just told me "X is broken", and I would have to spend 10 minutes trying to figure out what they meant.
