cannon reticules

    the second reticule from the left with the circle and the line at the bottom is what i would like to see for tanks in empires. it would be very beneficial for aiming cannons.

    Adding on to what you said, I think something like this would be cool -

    Grant's is a little over the top. I don't mind the extra lines but they're way too wide. And they don't need to be a pyramid or any shit.

    But yeah, I wouldn't mind this, even though I don't particularly think it would make a huge difference, it would still look like a bit of polish.

    It would be nice to see some different reticules in game depending on weapon etc.

    Like Trickster said. It's nice polish.

    like i've been reading in a few reviews of the game, polish is one of the things empires lacks most of.

    Every gun (type) should have a unique reticule, like a wide circle for shotty, and behr gets a big reticule, bear, nfar, nfhr get smaller reticules, artillery can get some cool thing that shows degrees, and with scout arty targets it could state shit like "point at x degrees" and stuff.

    that would make empires freaking awesome.

    I would kinda like one that gives you an idea of how you need to aim for each distance, but in general, the cannon reticule needs some options.

    Some way to judge the angle of your arty tank when all you can see is sky would be nice too. Maybe a side silhouette of the tank on the hud?

    It's a good idea because it dosn't take much work to add in the game and it adds a bit of polish which empires needs. Also when will squad heal get rid of my aids.

    No. That isn't polish, it's spam. This for cannons, and maybe something for artillery, nothing more.

    No, this is stupid. Simplicity is best. This isn't Arma, this is Empires.

    It doesn't have to be super detailed like that one, but a vertical line with increasingly wide horizontal lines is all you need. Just something constant you can use to aim from longer distances.

    Cannons are underpowered as it is. UML sniping is point and click. Rail/RC sniping is pitifully difficult. Do we really want to give missiles one more advantage over cannons?

    Are you taking the piss? Like are you actually, that stupid, that you think anything other than the current set of cannons being superior to nearly every missile in every way?
