give camera to the scout somehow, make it quick to ebuild for him scout radar display all enemies (incl tanks) on minimap like now, and provides hud displayed targets but only flashes them on and off every so many seconds (to simulate a rotating scanning motion like with radar) the more camera observed zones overlap, the faster the HUD displayed orange squares update themselves (from the targets that are in the overlapping zones) target is in range of X amount of cameras = HUD and minimap update timer 1 camera = every 5 seconds 2 cameras every 2.5 seconds 3 cameras = every 1.25 seconds etc, values example wise --- mini radars can be placed by commander (taken away from engy) are placed fully built, have a lifetime of X (1?) minutes (it kills itself) or untill disabled by enemy (well tossed grenade or whatever) cost 10 resources provides constant live target feedback (are basically the same as cameras in every way, but do not have an "update" timer, cost money, have a lifespan, and they work "live") what do you guys think? tear it apart please
I just think you should wait until 2.27 when the system changes, and then consider how the suggestion will work. We don't know if or if it won't work. No-one does yet.
