Building Preview gets models mixed up

Didn't see a thread on it, but when you start building turrets and ammo boxes as Engy, it sometimes put a ammobox IN a turret in the preview. (Only builds one)

Also shouldn't the icon be diffrent RF ammo box in the build menu?

 

Hmm...this got reported and fixed in testing. Must've come back when Krenzo made the full install. D:

 

Hahah. It's fun though seeing a turret with a box base.

 

Do you know how to reliably reproduce this? It happened very rarely in testing. If you can tell me exactly how to get the multiple models to show up, then I can fix it.

 

Uh.. When you place turrets and ammo crates? :D

It happens most on... The one where Empire has 3.5k tickets and RF has 350. Just place a ammo crate, then a turret, etc. I'll try and get a demo of it... You will have to watch through the entire thing because of aformentioned bug.

Only see it on RF don't play Empire.

 

I think this depends on the server somehow... some produce this, some do not.

I get the same every once in a while.

It just randomly happens after you've built a few stuff. Even walls appear in the mixed preview.

 

I also get this as well. Never on the first item built, but sometimes on any following item. Can remember all the maps it's happened on, but for sure happened latest on Escort since 2.0.

 

I reproduce this by spawning on RF on Escort, placing a turret, then a ammo box, recycling my turret, and placing again.

Whoops, I posted that too early in the morning.

 

I got it during Internal testing on Escort at one point...But I havent gotten it since, so I didnt think anything of it.

 

Was playing on Escort again last night and it didn't happen while I was on BE. Didn't try and switch to NF to try and see if I could get it to happen again though.

 

I got this same bug on money and some other non-escort map once as well... so it's not just escort...I'll look into trying to reproduce it..

 

I have also gotten this bug, on escort and others, I also remember seeing the other factions model in the preview as well as my factions'

 

ok I tell u how it happen to me I lost a turret and then after I built a ammo box then when I went to make a turret then the ammo box was inside of it

 

I noticed another thing, when I was going to place a level 1 turret, the preview showed a level 2 turret instead. I didn't even have turret upgrade skill.
