Now i was thinking about the researchable ability to place buildings on slopes and be able to build baths or lifts or something too them (except VF) because if done right it could give teams tactical advantages. Also i was thinking of a lookout structure or something (focusing on games with lotsa ppls) so one or 2 ppl could sit up there with a machine gun mount or a sniper and look out for enemys.
Putting a building twenty feet in the air is going to make it rather easy to destroy, and it's also problematic from a mapping point of view because now people can escape from the rat runs you put them in when you design the map.
