Engineers that do not take Repair Upgrade build at a rate almost as slow as E-Build. I'm just proposing that you should buff up the engies with non-repair because it doesn't make sense to have it almost as slow as classes that don't have calculators that shoot magic sparks.

Twice as fast as there are charges left. You don't really feel a difference in e-building a rax then building it as engee without repair.
if you start at 100 charge without a repair and start building a rax, i guarantee you'll get it up twice or even three times as fast as an e builder. it takes over a minute and a half to e build a rax, vs like 50 seconds without rep upgrade INCLUDING the time it takes for the calculator to recharge.
engineers that don't have repair upgrade probably have revive. and with shooting and looting and reviving, they'll have enough points for repair upgrade in no time. there are no problems in early game.
I would like Engineers to not have the skill exist at all and just have all Engineers spawn with their full repair rates. This is because Engineers without repair upgrade is a newbie trap and it would let Engineers take more interesting skills like revive or turret upgrade without handicapping them from doing the super-important early game building phase of classic maps. However, lots of people think this would be waaay overpowered, so it's kinda never gonna happen.
Due to the relatively fast pace of the game... I can't feel a difference between doing nothing for 50 seconds and 90 seconds.
still, the point is that it is a horrible idea to buff non repair upgrade rates, because as ounin said, if you don't have repair, you have revive anyways, which is arguably a better skill than repair.
repair upgrade is 3 times more effective than e-build, 2 more than non-repair, and non-repair is only 50% better than e-build. I wanted like a raise to 75%.

This! Change it so you have 50 Engy charge w/o the charge upg and 100 with the upg, while building with the same speed as currently with rep upg, also change rev costs to 33-40 charge. This way a engy who runs out of engy charge wouldn't be as slow as anyone ebuilding. Anyone trying to build f.e. a turretfarm w/o rep upg, on f.e. escord will be grateful for this change
