=[BSID]= Announcement - The New Generation

BSID is announcing a new endeavor, and we're looking for players. As many of you I'm sure know, most of our veteran members have lost touch with the mod. As we look to our own lives and wait for the mod to find its identity in this time of transition we've been finding ourselves less involved with it.

However BSID is still here! You see the tags and you know the guys who are in it still. They're on the servers playing most days. However you may have there are not as many as there used to be who play regularly. Because of this we are launching a "Next Generation BSID" project. If you've been thinking about trying this team oriented game with a solid team, talk to the guys you see in game and apply at our site, www.bsid-clan.com.

The standards have not changed, we are looking for genuinely skilled players who work well in a team. If you think you fall into that description, though, then take a look and fill out an application. You might be just what we're looking for, join the oldest running clan in Empires, and become part of something that actually helped shape the game itself both in its development and the storyline behind it.
(For all the newer players who didn't know before, I know what you're thinking. You remember those quotes and snippets you see on the loading screens about the Brenodi Sixth Infantry Division? The clan was not named for those. Those were included into the story because of this clan.)

We will be scrimming with other clans and expect those looking to join to be active members. This is the new generation of the clan, after all. It's neither a replacement effort nor a temporary slot filler, simply the next chapter in our history. It is our intention to reassert why BSID was always the best. As it read and was immortalized on the earliest recruitment sprays:

"Think you're good? Try joining BSID."

---As an aside, I know Thor usually starts the threads for BSID, so I figure I should explain. While our intrepid leader is busy with various training programs with the Army and Beerdude, the immediate second, is wrapped up with the mod itself I've taken the role of acting executive officer for the clan. Which is really just to say I have a bit more free time than they do right now, lol. I also encourage any questions to be directed to me, or even to them through me for the time being if for no other reason than I cannot guarantee either Thor or Beerdude will be able to answer everything directly clan related right now.---
