Ok i thought alot about the carbine and how to make it more interesting than a assault rifle that only shots in bursts. I think i found a better way to explain why it shots only 3 rounds. My concept of the carbine would be a mix between a standart assault rifle and a railgun. The gun shots bullets normaly like any rifle that we have now. The magnetic rails (2, 3 or 4 dunno) are only used to stabilize the bullets. That makes it possible to shot 3 ultra accurate rounds. But after that the battery for the electromagnetic rails is exhausted and must be recharged by nanites that use the heat of the fired rounds to recharge it. The recharging explains why the gun cant fire constantly. Its a superhightech weapon that still fires normal "BLAM BLAM BLAM" bullets like the community and the devs want.
I still think it's not practical to have a long range gun in a game like empires, give the assault rifles single shot firemodes so they can be used easily at range but with limited damage and then give riflemen shotguns. A new AR model would therefore be more useful, the carbine especially makes little sense because why make it shoot 3 shots if they are supposed to count as a single 'shot' of the weapon. Just make it shoot one shot and be done with it. If you are to have long range weapons they need better sights than the existing ones, the NF HR has a tiny little minute pixel on the end of the gun, and the BE guns have huge fat ironsights which block the view. I think both sides should use scout rifle crosshairs for their long range weapons, but with reduced zoom. For BE you could make it a holographic sight, NF could keep the crosshairs.
