My epic blindness lol pics, it was on emp_duststorm btw. Apparently when I pressed alt-tab I was hit by an concussion grenade. Atleast that is what they told me, but what I do know it caused long term blindness XD
I don't know what happend but it looked awesome, it felt like a was nearly blind. Its almost the same effect you got on glycencity But then less blinding T_T
I was really bummed out when I upgraded my computer and alt+tabbing was killing my games like that, but with time I learned that everyone had the same problem and didn't feel so bad. I've already pried off the windows key off my keyboards so that I don't accidentally hit them and I'm trying to work on not hitting alt+tab so much.... the only thing I REALLY need to work on is remembering to shut off IMs when playing.
In Oblivion, you could prevent this by opening another window before, for example Firefox. Maybe this works in Fallout as well (the engine is the same).
Yea I currently have ALT bound to voicecomm (might be worst key binding ever since its next to the windows key and 1/2 of the ALTTAB combo) so I get alot of this funny buisness. Never had anything that crazy though, the worst I got was when all vehicles became NF comm vehicles of different sizes.
fallout 3 NEVER crashes when i alt tab on my friends computer.... it just bounces back when i alt tab back in. The fact he has a double nvdia 8600 GeForce, physics card, 16 Gigabytes of RAM, and a Quad-core setup may or may not be relevant.
I got nvidia 6800 2GB of ram and to lazy to check the rest, and nope it doesn't happen to me either. I play unpatched thought.
