The eye etching stuff is pure crap, it would mean a HUD update requires the army to go into surgery :|

why is it? you dont have to change anything since if designed right

pure scientific there is no reason what so ever that they cannot make it as flexible as a normal monitor but then with a 800*600 resolution ^^

anyway, lets drop the subject now, it seems you dont like to talk about it

What I don't like is you parading this ridiculous concept as canon.

Since when do I parade my stuff as canon? I always specify it's not canon. STFU.

Jekotians hulking out due to massive genetic reconstruction, throwing around tanks... Brenodi soldiers overdosing on nanites and growing nanite armor, nanite tentacles or little nanobot anti missile systems all over their body would be far too awesome for this mod.

    I'm sorry.

Next time suggest something that is less exciting.

    Canon, not cannon, is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canon_(fiction)

The parade bit, I was referring to how I don't go around forcing my unofficial, non-canon writing, on others pretending it is canon. Arklansman was saying I do that, which is a load of fucking bullshit.

You just go around acting like the expert and getting all pissy when someone says something that isn't canon, and telling people to "STFU". (probably not the best plan after weaseling your way out of two permabans)

I'm not going to even answer that since I honestly cannot figure out a good way to say it without it sounding like rage. No matter how nice it seems on paper, reading it aloud makes me sound pissed D:

The distinction between canon and non-canon in a half life 2 multiplayer mod which almost nobody cares about and has bugger all ingame exposition of any sort of story is a bit petty to be honest.

As long as it looks more or less OK to someone who doesn't know much about it it's fine, nobody except really weird people are going to know the difference and really weird people find something to complain about in anything.

I should probably have specified it as complaints about inconsistiencies in the story.

You get people who complain about inconsistencies in anything, be it historical inaccuracy or plot holes or whatever, the point is you can't make your story or history watertight, and for the great majority of people there is no reason to, because most of them won't care, especially not in a game like this.

It tends to come naturally with long term exposure to something, for example I tend to be very aware of holes in star trek episodes, sometimes it's entertaining to laugh at them, anyone who looks at anything long enough will find errors in it.
