1. Bio Repairing your BIO'd tank for 40 charges (20 with repair upgrade) gets rid of the BIO effect. "But Bio effect stops when you heal your tank!" Not when it's damaging the hull. "But an Engi will just get out to heal is tank and BIO is useless!" If you can't kill an engi while he's using 20 charges..not to mention that the only two Bio weapons have plenty of ammo. 2. Killing credits When you do over 15 damage to someone, and they suicide, you are awarded the kill. "What? People are suiciding to avoid dying to bio, and I'm a greedy bastard who wants his points .
I often do that. Gives me a warm sense of satisfaction that I robbed their kill for using dickish tactics. Until Bio stops raping your stamina, I am against. When that is removed, then I am for.
This suggestion is a must implement, DOOO EEET Suiziding is the lamest tactic of all and shouldn't be worth thinking about it, also bio effects have to stop at one point while repairing, it must at least be saveable, 15-20 calc units would be best
It'll force people to return to base for repairs on the repair bad which will make games take 40+ hours. Not to mention chain-repair-pad-building.
I would probably suicide if I got biod with little health simply because there's not much point waiting for it to kill you as it's unlikely you'll be able to do anything in that time so it's bascially just like adding 10 seconds or so onto your spawn time.
When you suicide you add 5-10s suicide penalty, I think. Tbh, bio is a shitty weapon that is way too overpowered against infantry. One hit should not kill you and drain your stamina so you can't go anywhere or do anything. That sucks ass, frankly.
what about bio effect being cancelled out on 1 or 10 (or another solid value) hp? killing someone would require the additional shot in the end to finish him (this is only for infantry ofc)
People would still suicide. If you're going to be healed from 1hp -> 100hp then you wouldn't suicide even with the old bio. But if you're a lone wolfer and you get shot, you'd still suicide.
Why does bio have to do so much damage to infantry? There's really no reason it does. It could easily do 50hp damage and stamina crippling for 60s.
Its a biological weapon... thats why. They don't load those shells with the common cold, thats super aids my friend. You just don't get up from something like that. Every weapon has its check and balance put into the game, bio is a valid weapon that I love.... They are using bio? Get HE cannons and more armor.
Ok, let's just remind you that we have biotech vs nanobot guys, we have Depleted Uranium that does no damage to troops and tank shells do not kill infantry on a direct hit. So let's go again, there is no reason it has to do a fuckton of damage against an infantryman.
Because if it didn't it wouldn't be useful. We're only noticing BIO now because it's overpowered against tanks.
Yeah of course, the anti-infantry bullets are made from unobtainium, DU is excellent in shredding the paper mache tanks tho
