While having a B29 Superfortress is cool....the really noteworthy B-29s to see are Bockscar (in the USAF museum in Dayton, OH) or Enola Gay (in the Smithsonian Udvar Hazy center...which you see if you watch the latest Transformers movie.) The two planes that dropped the atom bombs on Nagasaki and Hiroshima, respectively.

And seeing a B-52 is pretty amazing...size wise, it is pretty impressive.

Lastly, I'm still itching to do down to Florida and see a Saturn V...

it only holds equipment that was ether used by the belgian army or confiscated/looted/found on Belgian soil from other countries equipment (lots of german stuff, like V1 and V2's (some with jet engines!)

Yeah, but you kind of got rolled in WW2 (with most of Europe). Though, I think there was a pretty strong resistance during that time.

our ww2 resistance was jack sh*t

our most powerful fort said to be untakeable was surrendering in 2 days

we had the whole Third Reich steamrolling us as if we where the doormat saying "WELCOME TO FRANCE"

I like the idea of belgians running around stealing things from the battlefield and hoarding it in a museum.

Now I have the image of a bunch of people stealing german tanks and driving them back to brussels.

We were supposed to be a neutral country in WW2, but internal conflicts, i.e. french speaking vs dutch speaking people caused more problems than were necessary. And when the war was over, they decided not to remove the daylight saving time again because they thought WW3 was coming soon.

The capture of Eben Emael was possibly the most awesome strategic victory ever. Just proves that the best defense is a good offense.
