Hope to be around a little more lately, another game sucked me in until a huge exploit was released for it and now its pointless. It was called www.slavehack.com and it WAS fun before some asshat released a script that camps all the machines and posts the log information into an IRC chatroom. ( Dont worry this thread is going to change soon enough ) So you want to know what I did to get back at this bastard for ruining a good game? I googled his name, found a website either him or his dad owns, I did a WHOIS on that site and plastered that information ALL over the friggin site. I went to all the servers on that game ( the servers are machines you can hack ) and FILLED the log files with it, I put text files on other machines as well. http://www.slavehack.com/includes2/forum.php?&action=viewtopic&topic=1878&cat=7 Thats a link the the forum post about it. Most of the chat happened in the IRC which was fucking hillarious.. Apparently some guy signed his email up at porn sites ( you know the scary stuff ) and I started to laugh my fucking ass off on the spot reading that ( almost fell outta my chair ). Someone gave the idea of faxing him porn, others thought of calling him or his dad up and bitching him out for his 'abusive' activites and so on. So basically a simple WHOIS on a website turned into the funniest 6 hours of my life, all he had to say when he came back into the chatroom was "That information is fake". ( Because by using google we found pretty much all his information ). Funny thing was most people thought that the website was someone elses, couldnt be his but there is a such thing as a WHOIS in the IRC....funny how his last hop ended in the same town the website was registered at...rofl. Enjoy :D (( And no I didnt do anything with that info, I just used it to scare him shitless when he came back into the IRC as a WTF??...Oh by the way its totally legal so dont start a flame war ))
Oh lawd, is dat some PlanetSide? Anywho, I've been guilty of not being around as much as I should, too. But life does go on, and I'm sure all of us will be a little more active once 1.06 comes out.
Well, a lot of people are kinda not as active as they could be.. due to the stagnation of 1.05.. but hopefully it's worth the wait :D BTW Jkun, he said the game is SlaveHack ;p
Oh, I'm sorry, I've never played PlanetSide. Isn't that a FPSMMO? Or am I just blabbering... it has a cool name though
Anyone played Uplink or Dark Signs? Sounds like it's safer to stay singleplayer on these games.There's always some wanker ruining your game in the online world. :p
My dads friend was one of the people making uplink so we got a free copy! It was fun.. but kinda annoying that when you got caught you had to start over from ABSOLOUTE BEGINNING unless you copied the player profiles in the game files..
