First of all, Hi! Here is an idea for a transport craft. It is for transporting heavy goods i.e tanks, Mini rax (DOT/Expiry maybe?) and other vehicles/buildings of sorts. Main inspiration is the Chinook cargo heli. Landing gear is fully extended. would compress when landed and be rectractable if poss. The doors would allow 4 passengers to shoot out as there are no wepons on the craft. It would be a spawn point so class could be changed while inside. This is a first rough draft, I had no concept so paintovers and C&C are welcome. Thanks.
Looks slightly cartoony and chunky. Needs to be roughened up around the edges imo. But keep working at it, I like where you intend this idea to go.
Hey, I Have reduced the rotor and engines "thickness". I think they where giving the chunky, cartoon look. alot of details I was going to leave for the bump. If you have any ideas/suggestions paint over the images and ill implement them. Thanks.
biological warfare man! full squad takes to the tub. pilot then flies over enemy base, pulls the plug and showers them with the bath water of 30 dirty guys!!! insstant win! It is meant to be a holding bay for drop pods holding vehicles and buildings.
Aircraft that are capable of carrying vehicles are far down the coding priority list, as it wouldn't really make sense until after map scaling is implemented.
Helicopter gunships with infantry carrying capacity would be nice though, they'd go pretty well on some existing maps.
This really doesn't fit BE. Compared to the NF dropship this is ooooold tech. http://forums.empiresmod.com/showpost.php?p=161734&postcount=7 Thats the NF transport, first pic. BE one needs to look more advanced, since NF deals with old cached tech, and BE uses the newest stuff thats rolling off production lines.
