basically the best cartoon ever made?

Does anyone remember the strange 90ties MTv cartoons like:

 

Trendy gothic? Trendy....gothic..... Nope those two words put together just do not compute. Where are you from? When I lived in Edinburgh, where 'alternative' is popular enough to be considered mainstream there are all manner of punks, rockers and metal-heads. All of them could agree the local goths were pathetic and, above all, annoying. Could be something to do with the amount of coke floating around the goth scene.....but I digress! On the social strata they were just below the chavs, and only one iota above that most despised social grouping: the Emo.

Or...are you just doing what my Mum does and labeling anyone who wears a black jacket and has an unusual body piercing a goth?

Freakazoid is quite epic, yes. By far my favorite.

 

Oddly I only remember that purple guy in the corner. I do however remember some other other MTV cartoon like Æon Flux (got the series on DVD ) , Bevis & Butthead, & Downtown.

Also does anyone remember The Phantom 2040; it just kinda popped into my head with all this nostalgia >.> .

I'm from california where for the most part every kind of person gets along. But in high school it becomes very segregated for some reason. I myself would hang out with any group of people. Trendy goths have kinda dissapeared and turned into emos like commie said I guess. But like 6 years ago they were alive and kicking.

Super baggy pants(almost parachute pants status) with misfit patches all over them, tight all black shirt, chucks, black eye makeup, dyed black hair with that little opposite mullet long part in the front hanging over the eyes. They like the band AFI and johnny the homicidal maniac comics.

They all sit on the ground around each other looking pissed and they hate jocks.

the problem is when i tried to find episodes of the maxx online i kept getting gay porn, apparently there is a gay porn star who uses that as his handle (sorry, could not resist the pun).

you two basically just did the joke that 90% of the internet comics use. except it was real, not in some geeks head, which means it was actually funny.
well kudos to you Ba'al for liking your show no matter what people say! I've never heard of it, and frankly, that picture makes me kinda want to shove a spike through the little blue guy. he looks like scrappy doo, the annoying little shit that they added in later series.

I use to watch rockos modern life every day before school.. I think that show got the career of the guy who does sponge bobs voice going.
