Tjeck out this awesome game; http://www.rasterwerks.com/game/phosphor/beta1.asp And belive me, it's worth the loading time. (Remember, this is in IE/Firefox/What-ever-browser-you-use!!!)
My antivirus program caught Malware.KKH as I loaded that site. I don't know if that is something dangerous bit I won't visit it anymore.
Simply awsome. I'm amazed that they got a fully functioning FPS of that quality in website flash game style. Only took ten seconds to load. They deserve an award just for that.
It's fine, trust me on this one. For an antivirus program, it shows up as a highly unusual piece of software, and that's because it is. It's a FPS game that runs in Shockwave, and it requires a plugin for Shockwave to be able to accept mouselook input. It has the ability to do online multiplayer. It throws antivirus software all sorts of curveballs, and the software automatically plays it safe by saying "O SHI-!" This is where you, the end user, comes in. If you know something to be safe (and I'm telling you now that it is) you can override it.
It's a bit old, but yes it is quite a feat. haven't seen much of an update in quite a while though. Some people on vent said that is lags a lot online though >.> Probably just need more testers
Not without completely rewriting the program. Its designed to prevent its removal from the site. Not impossible. But very difficult.
checkout .kkreiger - a fully functioning fps in some stupidly small amount you should really check it out - you will be amazed.
