Listen. I was sitting there, waiting, watching, gathering my ammoz. And then it happened... The server had crashed, leaving nothing behind but a crashdump, a demo, and a bitter taste in my mouth. But it was all the evidence we needed. Krenzo took the evidence downtown to look it over, all I could do was wait... After a few hours of filtering through the evidence, Krenz finally found the perp: This bastard, the unspeakable crimes he committed, the terror he had caused to all of us. We had to put him away. So Krenzo worked out the code, and was finally able to stop the crashing...once and for all.... So now, we can all have a great time in the PUG at 19:00GMT and 19:00EST on the official server. :D
These PUG announcements just get better and better. Once 1.08 is out, this needs to be front-page stuff! I'm talking empiresmod.com, baby!

I recognize that maneuver all too well, a relic from my former years. Haven't seen something like that for what seems like ages. I thought it was all over and done with... They gave us warnings, encased in childish rhymes so we would never forget. They said it was for the good of our mothers. For mothers everywhere, even. NEVER step on the cracks. The bastard went and forgot...
As far as that last emp_glycencity game, I'm having Warfle change the last flags around. When one team gets to the last flag, they end up spawn camping. The end flag is farther away than the spawn, and it makes it easier to spawn camp than to capture the flag. It's not fun to continue playing while the other team has dominated, and it turns into a game of who can get into the spawn and kill players just as the spawn protection wears off. District was changed similarly in that the final flags were moved up, and that improved the map to where it was possible to end the map by capturing.
It might be a good idea to not allow walls to be built around flags, but I don't see an obvious problem with walls as I do with the final flags.
good point I've heard a bunch of people complain about NF only having 1 way to get to the middle flag which is where alot of people tend to spam walls. I was thinking an easy fix would be to just take out walls.. or maybe create a 2nd passage like BE has also the walls make driving at times very frustrating.. just some thoughts on my favorite map :D
