Time out, why are the models being redone in a new set?... to me this seems like the idea that just got shat on by the community is still continuing forward with new designs for NF to combat the asymmetry that they have.
I'm sorry, but I do believe the entire consensus of multiple other devs and many other users on the forum was, in fact, negative of Tama's idea. So yes, I would say the community disagrees with some of these ideas.
interesting how you construct a "will of the community" out of such a controversial topic. there mainly was love for asymetry, not love for the northern tanks. you dont even know what he has in mind. i only said the above because the NF LT has a quite unique design and is the least shit looking tank in empires (be med is a real tank, so it doesnt count)

Devorawr I think rejected it. Tama even rejected it in favor of my idea. Awpolt rejected it. Lightning I think rejected it initially Caelorum rejected it. Caelo rejected it. Scar rejected it. Senor Awesome unclear. Avatarix I think rejected most of it. Omega rejected it. Trickster rejected it. Complete rejected it. Neko rejected it. William rejected it. Vulcan I believe rejected it. Needless to say, I think that makes up a majority of the active forum community....
i dont think that you can conclude that from the other thread. it was way more than just new models. remember redskulls med? i cant remember much of a bad word about it.
i agree, bulky is something thats NFish. they better dont drive like refridgerators on crack tho ... also i think the art direction for nf tanks should follow the light tank and redskulls medium (aswell as jeeps). so hints of cars prior to the 60s with wheel wells not integrated in the body and very pronounced round shapes.

I would like to point out that, to my knowledge, Lightning is not a member of the development team. His actions are his own. And, I don't want to shoot you down lightning? But redesigning models, especially well liked ones, isn't what empires needs right now. As far as I'm aware, people love the NF light tank.
its simply for concept art. i don't model. the ones i want mostly are for the AFV and heavy tank. And as for the light tank i wanted to make it look more like an actual tank, also no ones actually given me any inspiration yet.... *Sigh* i NEVER said anything i would do would actually replace the existing ones did i?
HOW TO: get an inspiration for videogame weaponry step 1 - open google images step 2 - search for real life designs of assets resembling the one you want in game step 3 - now look out for the GAME designs close to the thing you want to get inspiration for step 4 - if you are lucky, then you probably stumbled on designs sketches, concept arts, linearts etc etc step 5 - think very very hard step 6 - ??? step 7 - profit
