Thanks Jn. I too was not good at using Gmod when I first got it. I'm serious, it was also frustrating to give the ragdolls weapons, because it always flies out of their hands. But then I used "No Collide" from the Q menu, and it fixed that problem. Just keep trying, ask advice, learn new tricks etc. You'll get used to it. By the way, since you got gmod for the first time, when you got the weapons, did you hold down "E" and moved the weapon with your mouse? That's how you rotate objects in gmod.
Yeah, I read bunches of tutorials but I still can't seem to get anything to work well Oh well, how about you give us more yummy comics
I could teach how to use G-mod, I'm pretty good a posing regular characters & building basic contraptions. Check it out: Mirages in the sky. (My first attempt at skybox posing) Trash Sub 5000 (My first contraption. Yes it does work) Half-Life 2: After Party. (I thought up of it after playing DDR for four hours) Kleiner Missle/Gazeefloat (Originally a contraption, but it failed so I made a little skit.) As for the comic, great posing & story telling.
Here's three more. Whoa! Pope, I checked out Mirages in the Sky, where did you get that big mech!? o_O
you dont need to apoligize for bad language, im pretty shure this is a mature community. after all, any game where u can kill another play with a gun in a realistic manner should be considered "mature" (but rated Teen :D). anyways, back on topic. nice, very nice. i really like the posing. i can never figure out how to do that.
I see similarities with Erich Maria Remarque's "All Quiet on the Western Front". Heck, all of the names and situations are directly copied. Not that I mind, the book is an excellent read and there's sure to be analogies between the book and Empires, but at least state where you're getting it from.
I did gave a hint on how my story was going to be though. I wrote in the official comic thread: "Let's just make sure that one person can make really good scripts. Personally, it would be interesting to have a story about probably four friends who were drafted and soon experience the horrors of war. I don't know, that's how I would like it to be Read 'All Quiet on the Western Front.' You'll see what I mean."
Nope, not a scout. It doesn't look like any kind of bolt action rifle. Looks more semi-auto. I swear to god this is killing me. ARN13 please tell us what it is
Sure, it's a Heckler & Koch (HK) SL8 model for the Sig550. I wanted the BE's to have a futuristic looking sniper and the SL8 was the perfect choice. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HK_SL8 Without the scope, it kind of reminds me of the rifle from F.E.A.R.
I'm just going to take a break from the comic. I just bought Red Orchestra and....WOW it's just simply amazing. Can't stop playing :D Hope this doesn't bother you guys though.
